Kit draws come with many advantages, one of which is that it can be sent directly to the patient.  Because specimen collection is one of the most important factors in a successful kit draw, it is important that a complete kit be available. In addition, blood draws through mobile collection save time and allow for a more private patient experience.

 

KIT DRAW SPECIMEN COLLECTION OPTIONS MAY INCLUDE:

 

• Blood Draw - Blood tests are often used in health care to determine physiological and biochemical states, such as disease, mineral content, pharmaceutical drug effectiveness, and organ function.

 

• Urine Collection - A urinalysis checks for the composition of urine; used to determine the presence of proteins, salt, metabolic products, hormones, and other substances that are excreted in the body

 

• Saliva Collection - Saliva is used to evaluate steroid hormones such as cortisol, genetic material like RNA, proteins such as enzymes and antibodies, and a variety of other substances.

 

Please note that each company selects their needed tests. The examiner is only requested to collect and prepare the specimen for analysis. The lab or doctor will provide information to the examiner regarding specific tests.
